Sheets Smith Wealth Management Recognized for Its Commitment to CFP® Pro Bono Financial Planning*
We are proud to announce that our firm has been recognized by the Certified Financial Planning Board for the third consecutive year for our commitment to pro bono financial planning services.
According to the Certified Financial Planning Board, establishing a strong pro bono tradition within the financial planning profession is essential to elevating and enriching the profession while extending critical financial guidance to underserved and at-risk Americans. Access to ethical, objective financial advice can make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and families facing financial uncertainty, and we are honored to play a role in that mission.
The CFP® Board defines pro bono financial planning as “free, no-strings-attached financial advice and planning for underserved people provided by or in conjunction with a CFP® professional volunteer. These services will be delivered through one-on-one engagements or through interactive group sessions on topics specific to an at-risk audience, with the option for personalized engagement to follow.” Sheets Smith Wealth Management pays no fee to the CFP® Board to participate/receive this recognition.
This recognition reflects the dedication of our team and our belief that financial planning should be accessible to those who need it most. Through the generosity of our financial professionals, we provided more than 60 hours of pro bono financial planning services from June 2025 to June 2026, helping individuals and families navigate important financial decisions and work toward greater stability and confidence.
We are especially grateful to the CFP® professionals and team members who volunteered their time and expertise. Their efforts continue to have a profound impact on the people and communities we serve.
Receiving this honor for three years straight (2024, 2025, 2026) reinforces our commitment to giving back and supporting those in crisis or need through professional, objective financial guidance.
